Frequently Asked Questions
Your orthopaedic care journey starts with understanding. Explore answers to common questions about our treatments, recovery support, and how Spring Hope helps you move with confidence.
Orthopaedic doctors diagnose and manage conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. This includes joint pain, sports injuries, arthritis, fractures, back and neck conditions, and degenerative musculoskeletal disorders.
You may consider seeing an orthopaedic specialist if you experience persistent joint or muscle pain, limited movement, recurring injuries, or symptoms that do not improve with initial treatment. A consultation helps determine the appropriate next steps based on clinical assessment.
No. Many orthopaedic conditions can be managed with non-surgical treatment options such as medication and structured care plans. Surgery may be considered only when clinically indicated and after other suitable options have been evaluated.
During your first visit, the doctor will review your symptoms, medical history, and any relevant scans or reports. A physical examination may be performed, followed by a discussion of possible diagnoses and treatment options.
A referral is not always required, but it may be useful if you are claiming insurance or have prior medical reports. You may contact the clinic directly to check appointment and referral requirements.
If available, please bring previous medical records, imaging results (such as X-rays or MRIs), a list of current medications, and any referral letters. This helps ensure a more informed consultation.
