Bio

Dr Tony Setiobudi is an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon. He is working at renowned Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard), Singapore. He has been in the medical practice since 2004. He treats various bone and joint problems, fractures and sports injury. He has a special interest in treating spine problems such as nerve compression in the spine, back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, ankylosing spondylitis and spine fracture, tumor and infection. He treats majority of Orthopaedic and Spine problems with non-operative method first. Surgery is considered if the non-operative treatment does not improve the conditions and there is a clinical indication to do surgery.

Upon completion of his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery, he was awarded a “Fellow in the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh“. He received the Health Manpower Development Program scholarship by Singapore Ministry of Health to do medical fellowship training in Spine Surgery in Brisbane, Australia.

Medical Journals

During the spine surgery fellowship in Brisbane, he also taught medical students at The University of Queensland. He used to teach medical students at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore as a Senior Clinic Lecturer.
